Best price I have seen for the 14 piece kit.

https://smile.amazon.com/Ring-Ala...B07L8WJWQ9

In total, the 14 piece kit includes:
* 1 Base station
* 8 Contact sensors
* 2 Motion detectors
* 2 Keypads
* 1 Range extender
* 1 Echo Dot 3rd Gen

They also have a new 15 piece kit for $304:

https://smile.amazon.com/Ring-Ala...B07PMFHHB2

The new 15 piece kit contains these additional items (and a few less other sensors/pad):
* Ring Alarm Flood and Freeze Sensor
* Ring Alarm Smoke and CO Listener
* Ring Alarm Panic Button

In total, the 15 piece kit includes:
* 1 Base station
* 7 Contact sensors
* 2 Motion detectors
* 1 Smoke and CO listener
* 1 Flood and freeze sensor
* 1 Panic button
* 1 Keypad
* 1 Range extender
* 1 Echo Dot 3rd Gen

Costco has also dropped its price on the 10 piece kit to $209 ($10 more than the best price I've seen of $199 + tax on $239 for most states):
https://www.costco.com/Ring-Alarm...24042.html

In total, the 10 piece kit includes:
* 1 Base Station
* 1 Keypad
* 1 Range Extender
* 1 Motion Detector
* 6 Contact Sensors

I've had my Ring Alarm installed for about a month now - so far so good. No false alarms, no problems.

CR123a battery. The wireless technology is z-wave, which the base station acts as a "hub" for.

Thanks. I'm really tempted to get the one from costco for $210. I think people are getting 10 off 100 and 25 off 250 coupons from costco to make the price even lower (though you'd need to spend more to get to 250)

Good point. They were handing out $10 online coupons at our Costco yesterday for signing up for email coupon books I believe.

Costco deals are better. They come with 1 year of professional monitoring if you get the doorbell as well

Dumb question(s)... how are the motion and contact sensors powered? Using the previous wiring? AA/AAA batteries? And/or how do they send the signal to the system?? Does each sensor hop on your WiFi?

This beats the Costco deal we got with our Ring.

1 extra motion sensor, 2 extra door/window sensors, and an extra keypad for just $80 more. I think the motion sensor is normally $40 or $50. Sensors are $15 or $20? Keypad is $50. Plus an Echo Dot.

If you buy one of the cameras or doorbells at Costco and install plus activate it before installing the security system, it should do the same full 1 year monitoring for the Amazon security systems as well.

Just make sure to start the Costco deal first.

Also apples to more than one Ring doorbell or camera as well as far as the year goes.

I bought the 10 piece costco deal for like $200 about a month ago. I'm literally at costco parking lot about to do an exchange on mine. 2 of the contact sensor doesnt work and the keypad. I contacted ring for support and they said to take it back to Costco for an exchange. Now I'm thinking I'll just do a return and buy the 14 piece kit with the echo dot for $80 more seems like a better deal than the 10 price for $220 after taxes. Thoughts?

Same here.

I bought the Costco one and hadn't opened it

I'm returning it for this.
